Am i doing something wrong? Am i supposed to be a member or something to log in?
Can someone please identify what im doing wrong?

(sorry if I posted this in a wrong thread, you can move it, didnt know where else to put it)

^ One trick that I sometimes try is using chromium / chrome in "incognito mode" so that extensions are disabled, the authentication usually depends on third party sites which may be blocked by adblock or the like.

FWIW, I use Chrome too and found the same problem. I just assumed there was some noobish mistake on my part. I might give it a shot later using Firefox and see what happens. :goodjob:

^ I tried chromium in incognito mode and it still didn't work, keep seeing the same image as you did @Smoshes - running out of ideas other than trying a Japanese proxy (and I don't know of any myself).

damn, really wanted to wish those girls happy birthday *sigh*
@Kugayama thank you for all your help though, you were very kind

Urgh, what a bummer. I tried alternating between capital 'O's and zeros, upper and lower case but had the same problem as you. I had the same issue when commenting on their post about the Paris show, but if it worked back then I can't remember exactly what I did. Having kana and a smiley in the text seemed to help, but again I'm not sure why that would make a difference. *scratches head*

The only other possibility that sprung to mind is some difference between alphabet formatting when using English and IME that's invisible to us, but problematic for whatever variant on captcha the blog happens to use. Beyond that, I'm well and truly out of ideas. Sooo sorry! :comeback:

^ Yes, Roman letters only gets rejected by the form, one needs kana in it (figuring that spammers won't type in Japanese). I wonder if there is a geographical restriction on the captcha?

Same than Martin, after the Paris event I tried to send a message only meeting failure until I figured out that including some kana fixed the issue. But from the few that we can see of it Smoshes' message is consisting only of Japanese text so I can't figure it out (except that the 2nd and 4th letters of the Captcha look more like lower case Ls rather than 1s to me).

^ Is it still showing the same captcha? So it was lower case L? What was the full captcha so that we don't have to keep guessing?

Yep, that's it - everything worked fine. Thanks everyone! :hi:

I did manage to send Wakana a little something this year, but wasn't quick enough to organise anything for Keiko...but then, her 'milestone' birthday is *next* year, so there's always that!
