I think I know the answer to this question, but I thought I might as well ask.

Did the song that plays during Syaoran's awakening in TRC: TR ever got released? It's been a few years now and everything I see on the net is REALLY dated.

No its not released yet sadly, but we have sent setlists with it in to Yuki for her live in May so if you are lucky they might perform it then.

if they do perform it, i will be forever sad since i LOVE that unreleased track :touched: i leave may 8........i wish i can extend my stay by a few days :wai: i really want to hear that and ship of fools and a song of storm and fire :cry:
 
@ Kuga: During Tokyo Revelations OVAs there were about 3 new BGMs them being a main theme with Eri Itou, a piano version of it, and a cello bgm I think. None is released so far.
 
^ Thanks, Tsubasa Chronicles OVA collection on DVD is still available locally in Australia for about $20.

I might buy it to hear the soundtrack.
 
OK, I spent $27 at the local anime shop and picked it up.

Anyone know where in Tokyo Revelations that the music appears?

Almost at the end of the first OVA.
 
^ 1. The Eri song starts from 19:30 onwards of the first episode
2. an a cappella and cello version of the BGM starts at 04:29 of ep 2
 
^ The audio on the DVD is English 5.1 and Japanese stereo... it might be possible to get the vocals removed but the background sound effects would remain.
 
I remember when I heard the song in the OVA and thought "i must have this!!" but now years later and still no release. Maybe we can request it for her vol 10 concert XD

Someone already did that (either grunty or George).
 
I had done it, but it wasnt out of DVD, but out of the downloaded episodes. What I wanted Kuga to try is to remove the sound effects too and try not to reduce the quality of the singing voices or the instruments

Some already have, including myself. That's as good a chance to hear it as we get, I'm afraid. I wouldn't even be surprised if it appeared under a generic "M#" title, since I doubt anyone plans to release it anytime soon. If only Production I.G. hadn't dropped the adaptation, we could have been enjoying that and many other new Tsubasa songs by now. :cry:

^ I'll try to extract the audio from the DVD. (I leave Australia for Japan on May 8).
