Hi guys, I'm taking a break from restoring the main site to introduce myself here since I've never done that before XD
My name is Pauline, I'm 21, female, and live in Canada.
I'm studying life sciences and I'm starting a neuroscience thesis in the department of anat/cell bio in september. After that, I want to do either medicine, medical illustration, or continue in neuroscience
(I'm supposed to be starting to apply for schools right now but this hacking incident got in the way....)
I first heard Yuki on one of two things that happened around the same time - watching noir, and listening to internet radio where I heard .hack music. I didn't look her up specifically until I saw the Xenosaga II trailer, which had music (image theme) that reminded me so much of Adiemus at that time! I wondered if Adiemus did the music, but found Yuki's name instead. Since then I slowly discovered more and more that things I already heard were by her too, under other names
I like skyscrapers and cities at night, in the rain with white lights! That's why I really really really want to go to Dubai :D I will do that for my wedding so if you want to go to Dubai too, you can try to get close to meehehh hahhahah XD My second dream destination is Iguassu Falls. Next summer I'm going to go on a tour around Europe and visit everyone XD after Japan Expo!!!
My favorite musician outside of Japan is Vienna Teng; she is so good with writing lyrics and music AND singing! <3 It's just an unexplainable combination of AMAZING.
My favorite author is Diana Wynne Jones. She writes fantasy books of magic but not like the kind with wizards and knights. It's the kind with time travel and dimension travel, with the occasional visit to Earth. My favorite books by her are Howl's Moving Castle, and Merlin Conspiracy. I've collected almost all of her books!
I like to draw and paint, and make jewelry! Though recently I've only been drawing anime >_< I don't sell much through deviantart, but I do at Anime North here in Toronto every year (though this year I didn't go because I went to Anime Boston and met Yukifina instead ^_^)
I haven't watched anime for a long time because I'm so busy with school, but now I'm following the new FMA series, and umineko :D

... There's 3 conferences in one week..!!! one in my UW, one in Ottawa and the other one in Montreal....

.. I wish you have a nice summer..lol. (Um..I'm going to finished my Master degree in this fall...next summer I may be in Thailand or in the other province of Canada..XD.)
