Are the respondents located only in USA or anywhere else? If there is only that kind of survey in which the Japanese artists are the respondents...

^ From the linked PDF:

"During the fall of 2011, my colleagues and I conducted an Internet survey of over 5,000 musicians in the United States."

I agree it would be good to see the results of a similar survey conducted in Japan.

teaching music?

Hmm, does Yuki have students learning her music? :ayashii:

^ I dont think so, she herself didnt go to a music school or uni to learn composition (she's self taught I think) so I doubt if she has any short of licence to teach (even if she wanted to)

:omg: What? Composition and song writing is only 6%??? That's Insane. Is that percentage per song ?

I wouldn't know what the royalties a composer gets per song sold, or broadcast, or performed, but it isn't much.

Well I knew that concerts has the most income, but I didnt know that teaching brings that much :ayashii:
