I mentioned this briefly during the CPM meet-up at the weekend, but I thought I'd give the whole forum a heads-up in case you're interested. I kinda promised that I'd tell everyone about it, because I won't be able to get to Hyper Japan this month.
I've never heard of this lady before, but I was able to listen to a couple of her songs, which was enough to convince me that it was worth buying a CD. She was really sweet and friendly, and the policy of the guy who I'm guessing was her manager was that anyone buying her album that weekend also got her autograph and their photo taken with her.
Anyway. She's a really nice person with a lovely voice and the songs are very good too. She reminds me a bit of Kokia and Akino Arai. Very pleasant and soothing! There's more info on her english site: http://mayucocoon.com/english/top.html
