he can copy abilities from inhaling [or eating?] villains, with that, his powers can be extended from producing electricity to spitting fireballs

14 MAIN titles have already been released for different platforms
but i've only played those played with gba and ds namely:
1. Nightmare in dreamland
2. amazing mirror --> the best IMHO, coz itz the first game i played
3. canvas curse --> not so good IMHO, i hated the full stylus control
4. squeak squad --> 3rd kirby game i finished.
5. super star ultra --> discontinued due to lack of save points \(>_<)/
6. mass attack --> am playing it ryt now and already at around 80% completion, also full stylus control but better than canvas curse because there are 10 kirby in action [ALSO one of the unique feature of this game, COPY ABILITIES, was removed!!!]

the story's not as heavy as other famous games [i play]
--> in that kirby has to defeat mouse thieves who stole his strawberry shortcake \(-.- )
--> metaknight, a recurring villain, gets in the way of kirby.
--> king dedede plotting on eating more sweets than kirby.

I've only played the first game (and the one on GameBoy, but that looks like an abridged version of the former :uh..: ), but I liked it a lot. Sliding, flying, megamanning - Kirby is one versatile character. :sparkleguy: It's certainly one of the more significant platform series.

LOL, I remember writing a review on it... which I ended up stylizing as a persistent door-to-door salesman trying to sell a Kirby vacuum cleaner. Little did I know at that time, but in reality...

I have played and own Super Star Ultra. I've only gotten through half of the levels, though. I'm really bad at 'beat so-and-so in a race' kind of mini games, so I can't unlock the rest of the mini games left. I do love playing as him, though. The default copy ability I use (when accessible) is Mirror.

I want to try and get Amazing Mirror and/or Mass Attack.
 
my favorite kirby copy ability in super star ultra is the ability from the bird... i forgot hohohooh

my favorite copy ability from amazing mirror is the cupid
from squeak squad, the ninja

My friends always fight over rights to Kirby whenever we play Super Smash Bros. :ohoho: It's always epic when Kirby absorbs/eats/consumes the other characters :XD:

I think that's absolutely hilarious too. I also like that his final smash is Cooking Kirby. :XD:

ive only seen that [mic?] copy ability in superstar ultra
?iz like the nuke [?] copy ability but can be used 3 times

never played SSBB since me dont have the platform
but i saw a vid in utube yesterday...

Whenever Kirby eats one of the other players we always pause and zoom in to see what he looks like :ohoho: I think he grew a moustache after consuming mario :XD:

@joel: Yeah, Mike Kirby is a three-use copy ability. It is in other Kirby games, but I'm not sure which ones.

well, kirby was originally a game before it became an animu...
me still haven't watch the anime...
my friend told me some parts from the animu was used in the super star ultra
 
I've wanted to play some Kirby games for a while now, but I can barely afford Pokemon as it is, and I don't have a Wii yet... :leaf:

Does anyone have Kirby's Epic Yarn? That one sounded pretty good. Especially since Nintendo Power described it as being relatively easy.

Do your friend said any specific part? I've seen most of the anime, but haven't noticed anything.

I watched Kirby anime, and I think it's a genre that I wouldn't enjoy.
 
well, some also didn't like the animu because somehow, itz very different from the game

unlike pokemon animu which follows how the game progresses, kirby anime only used the characters and the settings from the game; the story? nay.
me havent watched the animu yet. also not planning to watch it :knife:

playing's better IMHO
