I think the [cannot make out words] is さえずって / 囀って (saezutte) since the stanza before mentioned about 小鳥 (little birds). And I think it's madobe de saezutte (窓辺でさえずって - the chirping/singing by the windowsill) and not madobe ga saezutte(窓辺がさえずって - the windowsill is singing) since singing windowsill is scary.

And I think the first line in the last chorus is 夢はその腕の中に (in the PV, the Wakana and Keiko clearly sang "ude" and not "mune" + Keiko's looking at her arm in when she sang that line. And don't worry about the weird using of ude. Kajiura whispered love with arm (ude/kaina) in obbligato)

And about this line : 響きめく花の香り (hibiki meku hana no kaori), I think it's 秘密めく花の香り (himitsu meku hana no kaori) since Keiko mouthed -tsu and not -ki word in the PV) but idk since himitsu meku is kinda...weird, I think :XD:

Wow, the romaji I made just from hearing is really close to your kanji, lord-starfish~

Most appreciated. Though I'm gonna keep that last line as it is because yeah, "himitsu meku" seems rather odd...

That said, I don't even find the use of "ude" all that odd. I mean, a dream within one's arms... Embracing a dream, I guess would be a fair interpretation? Seems legit enough to me.

^
Well, I said the use of "ude" is kinda weird because it's more common to have "a dream within someone's heart/feeling" than "a dream within someone's arm" but yeah, this one makes more sense than "whispering love with arm - (ai o sasayaku, kaina wa shiroku - the white arms that whisper love)" like in obbligato - I simply can't forget this line. Especially since I love obbligato that much. :XD:

Yeah, that 秘密めく花の香り is weird, but that's the one I keep hearing and seeing in the PV :XD:

Just have to wait for the official kanji, although I'm kinda sure this one is pretty well. Maybe the difference will be the use of kanji or hiragana/katakana in some words, since Kajiura has distinctive taste in using hiragana/katakana instead of kanji (like テトテトメトメ or ユメのカケラ in ARIA)

I think it's yoake o yobisamasu chorus in misterioso (especially if you hear it on the live version, it's much clearer there). The romaji is from google translate, isn't it? :XD:

For me it sounded more like "mo" in the PV and more like "o" in the studio live...
Oh, and listening to that much clearer MP3 that someone mentioned earlier in the thread dedicated to this single... Yeah, Keiko's line is definitely "himitsu meku" after all. So on the whole those Wiki-lyrics do seem to be more accurate than mine. I think.

^
Himitsu meku, right? It still feels kinda weird for me. But idk. It's somewhat poetic :XD:

Definitely "mo" judging from the clear version. At least the first one. Might actually be "nanimo kakushi nani wo kowashi". (EDIT: no, they're both "mo", I'm fairly sure)

Also, from the studio live, I think it actually says "hikari wo matoikonde" instead of "ikari" :confu:

The rest seems correct to me, I even tried listening to it first and then compare with the written text (as fast as my brain could catch up :desksweat: )

For me it can still go either way. If I listen for "mo", I hear "mo". If I listen for "wo", that's what I hear. And honestly I think "wo" seems to make more sense... though I do say that with the disclaimer that I am far from perfect at Japanese grammar.

Hmm, indeed. My initial transcription used 光 as well... Guess that's just what I get from only looking at those few parts I actually had trouble with and deciding "Okay, this looks better than mine!" without checking thoroughlt.

The latest clear version is really clear, the more I listen to it the clearer the "mo" is. As for the meaning, "hiding everything, destroying everything", followed by "burning clocks, secret-like flower scents", I really don't think the translation problem lies in whether she says "wo" or "mo" here :XD:

Also, listening to it once again independently (without remembering the lyrics), I think she says "mirai ya kibou wo subete", which fits better with "dareka ga egaku".

^
I still hear it as 'mirai ya kibou wa tsubete'...
And I somehow think that the kanji from Cerise's source is official because it uses ココロ in 何か足りないココロで since it's kind of Kajiura's trademark to use katakana for kokoro instead of 心, the proper kanji. But idk :XD: Just have to wait for the official lyrics scan, and we'll know it for sure.

Re: Re:

Scans of the official lyrics have been detected. The lyrics have been updated accordingly.

So that settles it. It is indeed "nani wo kakushi nani wo kowashi".

Yeah, it's nani wo kakushi nani wo kowashi.

Fixed some kanji from lord starfish's post.

Oops, I know it was sekai wa aru (I've changed the kanji from ga to wa in my previous post.) but I didn't change it in the romaji because I made it from Lord Starfish's post. And typo for takaku and kataku. Thanks Keikochan!

yuki.n, i hope you don't mind if i corrected a few lines?

will the morning come?
will it become night?
while wavering,
rays of light start breaking through.

inside this room, a dream
was always singing a kind song to you

what is the truth?
chasing the world that i can believe in the strongest
towards your silver garden

clocks that burn and
the secret-like fragrance of flowers
are certainly here

Thanks, that makes a lot more sense! I can't believe I saw sekai and translated it as time :XD:

Also wrt "nani ga hontou no koto na no, ichiban tsuyoku shinjirareru sekai wo oikakete", I somehow thought that "believing" referred to the truth and not the world, but now that I look at it again, that had left a world-chasing dangling.

Thanks again

Lol! It happens to me too, don't worry hahaha XD my fingers type what they want sometimes...lol

And no problem! I think it always good to have a second pair of eyes look over translations :)
