Kalafina or FictionJunction?

Yes, both groups are both Yuki projects and feature basically the same vocalists but they each seem to have their own distinctive style. Which one do you prefer?

Personally, I'm not really sure. I've only recently started listening to more Kalafina stuff so I'm much more used to FictionJunction.
 
I like the FictionJunction Project more than Kalafina...
my top 5 in my playlist
1. parallel hearts -fj
2. namae no nai michi
3. hikari no yukue - fkwakana
4. kioku no mori - fjyuuka
5. sprinter - kalafina
 
2. namae no nai michi < that is performed by Kaori Hikita and hasnt even been cover by FJ yet, so you cant count it as FJ.
 
Hmmm tough one but I'd have to go with FJ over Kalafina. They have more solo works and generally more songs that I like. And Kaori is part of it...need I say more? :nosebleed:

(Of course I <3 Hikaru too)

I personally like Kalafina more than FictionJunction. Kalafina to me has more deeper meaning to its songs.
 
Kalafina > FictionJunction, of course.

I firstly want to say Fictionjunction, with songs like "reached for the sun" or "parallel heartd", but after listening to red moon :shy: I love Kalafina as strong as fictionjunction :sparkleguy:

It's hard to decided indeed. But I'll take Kalafina, since I have followed they stps since the very beginning and listened every song :shy:
 
I personally think that Kalafina are way better than FJ also because of the experimentation in different styles or kind of music...but as for the voices , Kalafina=FictionJunction
 
If we count FJYUUKA as part of FJ , then FJY also had lots of music style experimentations, see Kouya Ruten (traditional / orchestral), and romanesque (latin), and nostalgia (india - like)

I think I also like Kalafina more than FJ due to the deeper lyrics and darker music. Of course the voices are equally good (after all 1/2 of the vocalists are the same [ Wakana, Keiko, Yuriko Kaida, Yuki (in chorus)], Kalafina just has the replacement of Kaori with Hikaru and Hanae Tomoru instead of Yuriko in some cases
