I'm kinda disappointed with this live. It lacks of clear harmonizations (I think it's due to the sound of the studio) and the girls don't seem to be at the top of their form. Keiko sounds ok to me and Hikaru too, even if she sound strange live (I just got used to the effect of the studio version). My main complain is about Wakana. For most of the time she seems like she's struggling a lot to stay on key and a lot of notes are strained and off-key. But honestly I wasn't expecting much from this live, we all know they always struggle in these studio sessions (as for TTB or Oblivious).

Agree with Kohaku regarding the girls singing. Anyway I find the bridge less annoying in the live version because the super annoying guitar solo that doesn't do anything other than makes the song more annoying is drown by the kajiurago.

I really like that they extended the kajiurago part. Is it me or they are co-singing with REMI's karaoke on the first half of the kajiurago ? The performance was good since the transitions that destroy the song were less audible due to the instruments being on karaoke. I hate the flashing screens, these guys try to cause us epilepsy :XD:

btw, found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7TpbqLnbgc
The song would be much better if it jusg had piano like this + strings instead of this mainstream arrangement.

The Kajiurago is actually there all over the bridge, it's just drown by the wailing guitar so they don't extend it. Listen it again and you'll hear it, George.

Nico nico live recordings have always been ok. Never like the m
microphone or sound mixing and the girls always sound a bit off. I did enjoy the Remi bridge though , nicely done!

To me it was awesome. They barely were off tune. I love every minute of it. I'm no delusional, I loved this performance. And the other 3 too

Thanks all for the links :chuu:

I think this NicoNico was way better than any previous ones (at least those I remember). They had some weak seconds or should I say notes, but nothing serious.

oblivious was passable. Could have been much better, though.
storia was amazingly good, close to perfect, even if Hikaru's high tone wasn't as natural as before. This gem of a song severely needs more lives.
alleluia was great, although Keiko really needs to watch her intensity.
heavenly blue was ehhh. Best part was the Kajiurago bridge, but Wakana was one key off the entire time.

Wakana was on/off in oblivious. The first 'aaa' is definitely off. I don't know why Keiko's voice almost always break in 'yume wo' but when she sang it before the last chorus it's spot on. Hikaru is so off in second verse of storia and she is flat in so many notes but she tried to slide those notes up. She doesn't open her voice like she used to, it makes her voice less nasal but as the result she doesn't hit the right notes. Wakana is :( in storia. I never like Wakana's transition between her normal voice and falsetto in Alleluia and this really proves it. Keiko's voice sometimes breaks in Alleluia but other than that she is pretty much spot on, if anything I think she doesn't put enough energy in the last Alleluias. Hikaru in Alleluia is :( she doesn't hit the right notes in furishibotte, four furishibottes and every furishibotte is off on different notes. As usual the most solid one is Keiko. Actually between all 4 Alleluia is the most listenable. The Kajiurago bridge in heavenly blue is actually really good if it isn't drown by that horrible wailing guitar (gotta say it again - I really hate that guitar solo).

I agree that Hikaru deceived me in this live. She was so great in Paris, what the hell?? I think that Storia is the one she messed up the most.

On the other side, the more I've given the occasion to listen to Heavenly Blue, the more I find it great. It's way too FJ-ish but whatever. Progressive made me the same effect. Not that it became one of my favorites though, but now I find it enjoyable, I think that HB will end at least the same way in my esteem.

Thanks for the link :) I think the trio did great with their original parts from the studio version...just not good with the remi chorus because it felt disjointed again just like the mirai kajiurago from 5th anni, well hasnt it always been like that with hanae and yuriko chorus as well? Hopefully the next live version gets new arrangement

At first I thought it was Wakana that was singing a bit flat, then I thought it was Hikaru, so maybe a mix of them together it was? It just sounded off especially in the bridge leading up to the chorus. Wakana was really good most of the time, maybe a little tired, but it may have been the studio as well, since it is a really enclosed space, and they can't sing to their fullest. I am hoping this song is sung more live, and agree about storia as well. I was hoping for that at ACen.
