So I was browsing Youtube tonight, and I found an amateur group from Japan that's covered some Kala songs. Personally, I think they're very good. Better live than Kalafina themselves in some ways. The Wakana singer sounds especially beautiful
This is their channel. (I think.) They seem to mainly cover Sound Horizon songs, as far as I can tell.
So far, I've seen the wonderful Natsu no Ringo, as well as Oblivious, which is also very good. (Although the main vocalist sounds suspiciously like Yuriko...) And of course, there's Magia.
There are also performances from them on other channels: Love Come Down, Ashita no Keshiki, Fantasia, Red Moon, Gloria, Ongaku, and Storia. Lacrimosa, Kizuato and Sprinter too. Plus, they sang Nowhere and Parallel Hearts. And Sajin no Kanata e with guests.
All in all, they seem to put a lot of work into recreating the harmonies. And they sound surprisingly like the real thing most of the time! I'm impressed
So what does everyone else think? I think this group deserves more attention!
Sorry for all the links...
