Such a drama
In a supermarket
there's a young girl (does that mean she's abotu 3-4 years old? never seen "tsu" counters being used for age?),
staring at the packed juices on the refrigerated shelf.
Soon she quietly
murmured "Cherry...", quietly reached out, took the juice,
and silently placed it in the shopping basket of her young mother who was by her side.
Her mother
said "No!" and put the juice back onto the shelf.
The girl, after staring again for a little while,
quietly placed again the juice into the basket,
and looked up at her mum with a too earnest glance.
"If I say no, it's no... Why don't you get some vegetable juice instead?..."
However, after placing the juice back onto the shelf, the mother left.
The girl hesitated a bit, about to leave,
while she and the juice were looking at each other.
Soon she grabbed the juice for the third time,
got near her walking mother from behind,
and secretly put the juice into the basket while the mother wasn't looking.
The mother didn't notice.
The two of them left like that.
The juice that the girl slipped into the basket was this one.
[Translator's notes: It's actually a "cherry mix" vegetable juice!]
The girl who seemed to think "I'm not drinking vegetable juice",
from what I imagine, could only read the characters for "cherry",
or maybe just noticed the illustration.
As a result, did she get to triumph on the battle in front of the register,
and obtain the cherry mix?
And now, when she took this cherry into her hands,
could she safely get over the shocking reality
that it was in fact a vegetable juice?
Or maybe, starting with this incident, this young girl decided that
she should celebrate this day
as she started to walk the way of victory over vegetable juices?
Of course I'm interested in the results of today's elections, but
I'm also interested in the continuation of this drama,
which there's no way for me to know.

EDIT:
Oh dear, I read the translation again, it's horrible, especially near the beginning!
