My computer detected a Malware inside CPM... specificly in two pages in our introduction corner...

I was browsing these pages when this warning appeared:
:nophoto:

I know that some other computers can block this malware too, but to those who couldn't, I hope this would be helpful... :XD:

~It just occurred to me that this might begin a sequel of CPM's .hack series... but I don't think it will... But of course... it will definitely harm one's computer badly... so..... Be careful, minna! :plz:

EDIT: I found more... all from the Introductions Corner...

Can anyone see this too..? :confu: Could it just be my netbook being over sensitive..? :touched:

I hope it's not just my netbook, 'cause I might be making a ruckus here... :rain:

EDIT 2: I deleted all the names I posted here.... Because I found a lot MORE! all at the intro page... with only few exceptions... :omg: but since I'm too lazy to check all one by one, I stopped.... who knows, it might be fine tomorrow.... :rain:

wow, none of the warnings appeared to me and I visit both pages ^^; oh and I just did spyware scan, and as far as I know my antivirus block all the threats and I have WOT in firefox, so I feel kind of safe. I sent link to Kera about it :XD:

So.... could it be that my anti-virus program is just too,,, sensitive and too protective..? :uh..: or is it because of google chrome..? :confu: Or was it just the settings of my netbook..? Waahh...! What if I'm the one with problems..!? :omg:

:blood:

Umm... AVG... :confu: version 9.0.851... :confu: Have it both for anti-virus and anti-spyware... :confu:

Ahh.. so I'm safe.... :confu: Thanks, george-san... :plz:

Having them is not enough, do a full scan each of the ones you have :)

also make sure their database is up to date (if they dont update automatically)

Just updated it this afternoon..... :confu: just finished scanning thirty minutes ago..... and I've been scanning it for already three times today... :XD: I dunno why I do that.... I find it entertaining.... :psst: Thanks again, George-san... the results are 0... but on the first scan I did this morning, there were 11 trackers and cookies, but all are removed and healed... :TdT:

After a quick investigation, it appears to be due to an image hosting service. As I can not tell that initial reports were about, I am guessing it was a cracker (what do you call a hacker that's not evil? A hacker.) trying to effect someone else.

Appropriate parties have been contacted. The issue currently seems to be a coincidence.
