I wonder what is needed to place Kajiura's name in the history of music.
It shall happen.

Dude, it's like you're predicting the apocalypse in here.

Lighten up.

What do you mean APOCALYPSE?

Would'nt you like Kajiura Yuki being remembered in the level of Beethoven or Mozart for the generations to come.

well, Kajiura and Mozart have rather different style of music, don't they?
if she had composed classical music, she might have been at the same level with Beethoven and so on, but should she?

I think she will be remembered at the level of Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer, and that's not a bad level, right?

moreover, I guess she doesn't bother about it very much. she just enjoys working in the way she does and there're now thousands of people who enjoy her works.

I was kind of making the point that her name is already in the history of music. Certainly Japanese music.

There's no "what is needed to", she's already there.

Unfortunately the Western world doesn't have the same tastes (for the most part) so she will never be quite as popular here.

That is What I wanted to do.
I want to make the Western eyes turn into Kajiura Yuki.
We must make something Interesting.

Not gonna happen dude.

Japan is japan, the west is the west.

Although she has some great stuff, she's not ..quite there.
