if you use firefox, download the add-on called "easy youtube video downlaoder".
it allows you to save in FLV 3GP MP4 and MP3 formats directly

I think that the best (if you are using Firefox and I hope you do...) is YouTube to MP3 is a complement, you can DIRECTLY rip the MP3 of any video in the Youtube page...
