Hi,

Long time lurker but figured it's time to jump into the fray, so to speak.

I'm a 30 year old male based in So Cal and have been in love with anything and everything done by Yuki Kajiura since Noir (which was my introduction to her music). I consider her to be one of my primary musical influences. I've also tried to get my songwriting partner addicted to her stuff with moderate success.

Anyhow, it's good to finally be a partipant here and not just an observer.

Good stuff! We'll most certainly be looking forward to hearing some of your mixes based on her works!

welcome to CPM! and isn't it nice to perform some of her works 63.gif

In the past I was able to play the world key of the twilight and bt.

I quit violin a long time ago though :P

Mmm... I personally play guitar, piano, bass, and drums, but my partner is one heck of a violinist. Our first recording was actually a cover of "Canta Per Me" with guitar and violin. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Welcome! :sohappy: we'll be looking forward to hear stuff from you! :V:

(says the person who heavily neglects Creative Corner subforum... :desksweat: but I promise I'll get better! :XD: )

Welcome to the forum! Please have a nice stay :sohappy:

you are currently the olderst person in the forum :plot:

@moichi: It would be even more old school if he had discovered her with See-Saw in their early era :psst:

No that's more like ancient school :tea:

Ancient school See saw early
old school Noir and .hack
Medium school Tsubasa Madlax...
New school Kara no kyokai, Pandora hearts
Urobuchi school: Madoka and Fate.

It looks good for something I just created :ayashii:

Maybe we should discuss this on a post instead of there :psst:

You forgot the Mai-Hime/Otome school and the Xenosaga school :XD:

with your climax I am mediums school since I discovered Yuki with Tsubasa

Oh great, now I feel like a fossil. :ohoho:

Noir was what introduced me to Yuki Kajiura and I liked a lot of .hack//sign but I didn't completely fall in love with her stuff until Madlax. I still think that the solo-bridge for "Nowhere" is one of the greatest sequences ever written in popular music.
