Hi, sorry for the late introduction ^^

Hi guys, Jac here :)

I posted on one of the threads some time last week without first introducing myself :p Sorry about that hehe. Been kinda busy these few weeks.

Anyway, I've been listening to Kajiura Yuki's stuff since I realised that animes came from Japan so I supposed it's been quite a while haha. And I've been listening to Kalafina's songs since Oblivious was first released so it's been quite a while too. And have I mentioned that I absolutely looooove them? :shy:

I'm from Malaysia but currently studying in Singapore and unfortunately, I missed two chances to see Kalafina because of my indecisiveness. I thought it wouldn't really be worth the price of the concert ticket when I wasn't really interested in the other two groups performing since it wasn't a solo concert :desksweat: Sucks to be a poor student really, except that I'm finally earning some money now.

Oh yea and I actually made an account cuz I wanted to ask how I could buy Kalafina's concert tickets overseas as I thought I would be able to join my university's Japanese language immersion programme but my mum said no, so that's that. Still need my parents' sponsorship as I can only afford to pay for the course fees and accommodation. :wai:

Anddddd I've been studying Japanese sort of on and off for quite a number of years now so I might be of some help translating things. Though I don't really do so usually besides some small stuff for my siblings as I'm afraid of giving inaccurate translations ^^;

Welcome to the forum! Yes when you see Kalafina coming you shoul be always going to watch them no matter what other artists perform :XD: With that username of yours I could mistaken you for spambot :XD:

Yea now I regret not going and I doubt they'll be coming back to this region anytime soon :comeback:

Well since I won't be splurging on a Japan trip I'll be able to buy the album that comes with the blu-ray instead then :sohappy: Now I just need to find someone with a credit card....

And haha spambot?? Not so familiar with such things so I just wrote the first thing that came to my mind when I made the account :XD:

Hi jac177... I used my travel agent in Australia who has a colleague in Japan ( http://www.idtours.co.jp ) who joined FictionJunction club with my name and date of birth, but his address, phone number and email address. So I paid for the membership and they let me know about concerts and bid for them if I want to attend.

I hope that you can get to see Yuki Kajiura and her singers and band live soon!

And haha nope Casarina you didn't scare me :XD: Rather, it's great to know that there's someone from around here in this forum! Maybe we can meet one day when they come over to Singapore for a SOLO LIVE CONCERT :dote: By the way, are you Singaporean? :D

I just realised that I kinda introduced myself without talking about what music I listen to.... Not really sure of how to describe the stuff I listen to but I LOVE YUKI KAJIURA'S SONGSSSS!! Haha how obvious was that right? I like the chorusy and melodious kinda songs that she composes and I actually reeeaally love some of the slower songs by Kalafina like I have a Dream and Seventh Heaven :dote: But then I started watching Kalafina's recorded lives on YouTube and I ended up loving all their other songs too lol. My Kajiura playlist is pretty long and it keeps expanding :XD:

I absolutely loooove Wakana's voice, and Keiko's so cool when she sings and so cute when she's..... doing everything else HAHA. And Hikaru's so shy and cute omg. I must say that the thing that made me fangirl over them in the first place was watching their interviews. Too adorable for words :dote: Their blog entries are a lot of fun too! I really should be studying but.... :desksweat:

Besides Kajiura-san's compositions, I loooove Nobuo Uematsu's compositions too!! In fact the only concert I've ever been to was the Final Fantasy Orchestra Concert thing when they came in Singapore. It was GLORIOUS :XD:

Uematsu-sama is a very great composer too! Deep respect I gain towards him, as well as for Kajiura-sama! :bow:

Hi! Welcome to CPM! So aside from those of Yuki, you also like Uematsu's compositions too? I may not have heard all of them, but so far Suteki da ne has been my most favorite although I prefer the Korean version more than the Japanese one.

Glad for you to see an orchestra concert of FF, and I hope that you'll get to see a Kala/YK live in SEA as well. Hopefully I may be able to join you since I'm also within the region. :sparkleguy:
 
One of my dreams is to see them in a solo live concert! With all the songs they sing, not just the anime ones....though I really dunno who's going to sponsor them over :uh..: ...so for now I'm sticking with hoping for AFA Singapore 2013. :ayashii:

And yup, I'm Singaporean. :XD:

My Kajiuran playlist keeps expanding too as I discover more and more of her songs... :nosebleed:
