Hi everyone,
Sorry, this is my a month late introduction. I’m a home audio/video enthusiast and a music lover. I enjoy to listen to every kind of music. From traditional folk to experimental, and from religious music to death metal, I just listen to all of them. Although, I have listened to many different kinds of music, this is the first time for me to join a forum for a certain group/groups.
About half a year ago, I came across with a live performance video from Kalafina. I immediately fall in love with them. I was stunned by their excellent techniques and Yuki Kajiura’s beautiful arrangements.
Then, I became a big fan of Kalafina, and got all their CDs and DVD/Blu-ray. I also introduced them to audiophile groups because I think they should be more recognized than it is now.
I enjoy their live performance more than the studio recordings. I found that their studio recordings are too compressed (dynamically) and have too much effect. On the other hand, live videos are more “raw” and natural sounding (This is only my opinion. I am not here to start an argument).
I really wish they will release all their concerts on disc.
