Hi to all,
new to the forum.
Love Kajiura =)
One of my greatest inspirations over the world

Hi symphonic mind, don't just stop there... tell us more about your Kajiura and musical interests (you don't have to tell us anything about yourself if you don't want to, but a little bit does help).

What Kajiura music first grabbed your attention?

Any particular soundtracks, FictionJunction vocalists?

Do you like See-Saw / Chiaki Ishikawa's music?

Any other favourite Japanese music?

Ever visited Japan and/or seen any live shows of Yuki Kajiura and her related acts?

With a name like symphonic mind, any particular favourite symphonies or classical composers?

Hey thanks to all for this welcome =)

Well Im from Mexico, 27 years old, and Im a person in love with music =)
I used to compose music play keyboards in different bands, one playing symphonic metal and another for videogames music... I have been in some contests of video games music bands playing alive in some anime videogames fest in my country and have won three times =) (some years ago)

After two years of playing NOTHING (because of work, time, master degree, etc) I started again last week to play but this time Im going to focus now more on piano.

I love Yoko Shimomura, Kajiura and Michiru Yamane, those are one of the best composers over the world. I also love Yasunori Mitsuda, Koichi Sugiyama, Seiji Yokoyama and Novuo Uematsu... As well as other video games composers.
I really listen a lot of music, i.e. film scores like Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson Williams, Howard Shore, Jerry Goldsmith and many many others. Also some metal bands like Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire and Symphony X.

I guess the first time I listened to Kajiura's music was when I was searching music with vocals related to anime or videogames (because I was going to enter on one of the contests) and I found Akatsuki No Kuruma, I got so impressed that immediately started to search more of her compositions, I have listened to many many albums of her work because her style is to unique, the folk insturments, the combination of voices and the feeling she has to play the piano is OMG, i just dont have the worlds to explain it.

I discoverd this site because I was searching for sheet books of her work.
Im still wondering if I should buy the hard red book (it has the best songs for me)...

And well, I think thats a little bit about me hehe =)

Hi, glad that you like so many different composers. I look forward to the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert in Adelaide on 24 Nov, 2012 with Arnie Roth as conductor and Nobuo Uematsu in attendance. We've also just had a concert with Ennio Morricone, and have Tan Dun visiting later in the year to conduct some of his music from his martial arts movies.

Please join in on the forums to talk more about your favourite composers and music that you like performing.
