Hello all.

I have recently found out about Kajiura Yuki and she is soooo godly! I am looking to buy some of her sheet music for piano solo but cannot decide which one to purchase and where to purchase... Can anyone help?

I was really good at the piano before going to college, but now I am a bit rusty (last year of college for me so I have not been playing for 3 years). But the yasashi books seem too easy? (i cannot find preview)

Also i might want to buy her CDs to show some support or something. Is her most recent music with the band Kalafina? She appears to be in so many bands so I got a bit confused....she was in SeeSaw as well... :XD: help!

Why not try CDJapan? I get all my CDs/DVDs there. I'm sure I've spotted some Kalafina sheet music books there as well. Clicky~ I think they have Yuki's other sheet music books there too

Wow thanks a million! It is a great start, but i am wondering since the link you gave only Kalafina works, is there a more compilation of her BEST works or something? So which CDs do you recommend?

I have yet to listen to Kalafina songs >< I have been listening to fictionjunction and her older works.

There should be I think... I'm not familiar with merchandise, I just randomly searched and since Kalafina came to mind first, I just searched that and linked you xD Maybe search "Kajiura Yuki sheet music" on that site would help.

Also for CDs, if you don't want to waste as much money, you should just get the album releases of Kalafina since they have most of the songs featured in the singles (I really like Red Moon but the other two is good also). I recently bought all singles and albums of Kalafina in their regular editions (meaning just CD and no DVD) and that easily cost me about $270 or something like that.

Wow! I am returning to Taiwan for winter break...hoping CDs there should be cheaper like 13 dollars ish maybe 15 per...for full albums. So you never heard her other music? Youtube some, and omg they are just mind-blowing! I dont want to start listing because you might already know them...i just became a fan like 2 days ago so yea...

I am confused so songs of singles are not in the albums of kalafina? there are only 3 studio albums, they should not cost 90 dollars each QQ, and that is no DVD too :omg:

Even with the internet so easy to download music, I still try to buy real versions for artists I love to support i guess XD. (Although i am not sure if i can resist to DL some before I get the real stuff....) The music is like the BEST i have heard, this is my style, unfortunately i cannot sing female pitch idk...maybe.... Upon hearing her it became my #1 artist (overtaking Aqua Timez)

Lol look at me just talking haha, i have an exam tomorrow >< it's like 3am here i should get a few hours of sleep soon

Dear thesums! Please try to avoid posting same posts to different threads. It looks like spam

For sheet books, I recommend the medium/high one http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.htm ... OBK-732412

The yasashii are easy but fun, however there is a lot of repeat between the three books. I suggest getting the third book only because it's the largest and has a nice photo of yuki on the cover http://canta-per-me.net/2011/11/new-off ... -released/

In terms of a compilation CD album, there are really only two. The best of FJ Live is the one with more popular songs: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/aff/click.cgi/ ... VTCL-60201

"the works for soundtrack" is one with more obscure unreleased titles: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/aff/click.cgi/ ... Y=BVCL-149

Thank you thank you!

Ok so i have narrowed down some books.

1) http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.htm ... OBK-732412

This one is the hard version and kind of a mix selection, here is the song list:
http://canta-per-me.net/sheet-music/off ... iano-solo/

2) http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.htm ... OBK-868746

This is the Kalafina specific hard version, link shows the pieces

http://canta-per-me.net/sheet-music/off ... -kalafina/

3) This is the newest book it seems, but i cannot find where they sell it, if anyone can help that would be great:

http://canta-per-me.net/2011/11/new-off ... -released/

Unfortunately this is the easy version QQ, i dont want it to be too easy i want to play it and ppl think "this guy has skills". I wonder if there is a hard version, does anyone have these books? Maybe you can let me know how easy is Easy...like sight-read easy, not many notes in chords easy...etc

So I need to make decision which to buy relatively fast...XD help me! if you can rank them, I might have to buy 2 if it is too difficult to decide.

PS: 2) has 3 beautiful ladies on the cover :shy:

Also seems that Amazon japan does not deliver over seas

Yuki Kajiura is on See-Saw and FictionJunction, and ofcourse the person behind Kalafina, you can read the info on the main site.

I think if you buy one, you'll get the most songs with #3 which you can get at HMV or amazon

If you decide to buy two, I would switch completely to #1 and #2 :XD:

:confu: I can find 3 on amazon? I cannot find it...
I tried this http://hmv.com but doesnt have it either

But if i buy 2 books....it is not that expensive but once you add the shipping cost! :XD:

I wonder if I can buy them at a store directly...maybe there is a chain store? Like in Taiwan or the states or Japan (I might go there some time)?

http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/ for HMV, though the one time I bought books from them the shipping was really expensive :uh..:

No clue on whether you can find them at bookstores; I think everyone here who has sheet books, ordered them online! If you're going to Japan, you can just order it from amazon while you're there and have them ship it to your hotel for free

Ty I found book 3 XD

http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/product/detail/4243895

Each book cost about 40-50 dollars including shipment to US California
But I dont think that is too bad...however which to buy urgh....

So no one actually bought one of these books? I wish they would give a preview of like 1 piece...

I think 1) + 2) the 2 advanced versions would be best...I am afraid easy would be too easy, and will not sound good enough.

^ Well, I guess it's better than CDJ not having it at all. :uh..:

@the sums: It's always better to give yourself a challenge anyway. :innocent:

Thanks I will buy them after I return to the states, since I took too long to decide....haha. Maybe a hard version of the newest one will come out XD there is usually a difficult version fo other books.
