Hello all,

I stumbled across the greatest composer of all time, Kajiura Yuki, about 3 days ago, I have heard some of her songs before but it is shocking that I had not heard of her before until recently (I should be shot omg). I am an immediate big fan XD.

So recently I have been looking for a nice book of her sheet music...Do you guys know which one is good? I really like something like the following type:

So about myself. My name is Joe Chen and I am in my last year of undergrad college here at Berkeley as an international student from Taiwan...I am going to major in Integrative Bio, but I am not sure I really want to do science as a profession yet...I kind of want to do creative writing, write novels or draw mangas (although for this I probably need art training unless I do not draw and only write)

I enjoy listening to music, tennis, manga, anime and specific computer games (such as starcraft 2, diablo series). Also love novels science fiction and fantasy: Wheel of time, Game of thrones and its sequels, Dan Brown, etcetc, I like reading when I find time.

I had pretty much the same experience :XD:

What songs have you heard so far? I started out with Kalafina and went on from there to Kajiura-sensei's OSTs.

Nice to meet you! :uh..: i was the one spamming your comments section and requesting sheet music ...sorry I was very excited and I was pulling an all nighter studying for a very difficult and boring anatomy class :cry: .

I think I will buy the Kalafina inter/high level piano sheet music (the official one) it is not too expensive, and I am looking to playing some piano over break... In my prime I believe I can play any classical piece as long as the piece does not ask my small hands to stretch too far, and practice hard

I have heard A LOT of songs already, I have been doing a lot of research on kajiura Yuki and I will dish out some songs i Like which are not with Kalafina (which EVERYONE here I bet have it memorized) after I have lunch

(I like these smilies wow)

BTW, I messaged drummerman55 who transcribed your piano arrangement, and he said that he does not plan on doing more unfortunately.

Too many good songs lol. Of course the Kalafina and Fictionjunction Live it is like everything is 5/5 for me. Some i have not listened to yet XD
 
^ Wakana is one of the singers Kajiura-sensei uses. She's in both Kalafina and FictionJunction - Oblivious is a good song to hear how her voice sounds. She sings the chorus of Toki no Mukou Maboroshi no Sora, and plenty of other songs.

If you want to find out more about the other singers, you can look here for Kalafina and here for FictionJunction. The main vocalists page has a lot of information too. Just keep listening and watching, and you'll eventually get to know all of them by name~ :sparkleguy:

I love basically all of those songs, especially Swimmer...See-Saw's early songs are just great :dote:

And I also love oblivious :shy: and listen more to FJ and kalafina songs and you'll be able to tell the singers apart easily. :sohappy:

Welcome! I love oblivious too, it's one of my favorite Kalafina songs. Wakana is awesome. red moon is a great song to listen to, especially live to hear more of her voice as well. :dote: I am Lina, btw. Hope you like it here!

Since you are a newbie in Yuki Kajiura's music, make sure to read all the information about Yuki;s Jpop projects (See-Saw, Chiba Saeko, FictionJunction, Kalafina) as well as the ones for the musicians that play in the live bands so that you can follow all the discussions here. Taking a look at the lyrics section will make you see that we recognise all the songs you listed above ^^. Also take look at the other pages of the website especially at the discography and the live events.

XD Tyty! I am deciding on the right Kajiura sheet music book to buy...unfortunately I am still in college and hard to access a piano for me to play....QQ

I wish her music is very popular world wide so I can just go to a music shop and buy the sheet music :voodoo:
