.hack//sign is a pretty decent soundtrack for sure, I still need to get the second one. My personal first Kajiura work was the Le Portrait de Petit Cossette OST, and it was one of the earliest scores I had an interest in owning. Alongside a few other composers I can safely say that it was a crucial part in my interest in work for soundtrack nowadays

Have hope. I waited four years before I got my chance to see Kalafina (and still had to go to a different country) but hopefully you will get your chance. All I can really say is it is worth the wait. So much.

Yuki Kajiura has many interesting works, and its difficult to find which are the best sometimes. From soundtracks I would recommend Madlax, Tsubasa Chronicle (Future Soundscapes I, II, III, IV) , Le portait de la petite cossette ost, as well as kara no Kyoukai and Hanako to Anne, I considers these her best (where I like all songs), but that doesnt mean the others arent good!
