Nick has a thing for Sayaka... :psst:

On a side note, make a contract with me!! :sparkleguy:

...I think I love you guys !!! :nosebleed: Plus I'm really kind of shocked that there is another Sayaka fan (Nick) even if its for another reason (alot of people hated her :(...and I def. can understand why to an extent ).

I really liked all of the characters but (and I may be putting myself in a big hole here LOL) I found myself identifying with her and that beautiful struggle/bitterness :rain: :imdead:

On a basic human level (boil away morals and virtues) - I think I would have suffered the same fate as she did, and end up jumping into my "witch-ness" as opposed to resisting it just because depending on what it was I would have been that fed up/empty and enraged - hence the screen name LOL :plot:

(hell...I go to school feeling that way every morning LOL :XD:

Sounds Corrupted...right? :uh..: LOL

Special_K...yes!! :stars: I WILL make a contract with you! :ohoho:

^YEAH!!! :dote: Knowing that makes me feel so much better...I think I've dealt with too many people in my life (outside my Fanfiction/Anime/J-music communities)that don't understand my fascination/admiration/engagement with any of it. So I often get questions like "You're a college student and you still watch anime? I thought that was a phase?" blah blah...
Same here, i was asked such questions in my entire existence.why Anime/Jmuisc/Yuki Kajiura/Classical. .but I ignore them and didn't let it affect me.For me, it's better than being on the "Wanted List" in the community and get addicted to drugs.(sounds exaggerated) :XD: Anime isn't basically for kids since Anime itself has genres for all ages. :knife:

Good thing i have another comrade in you existence. :ayashii:

Sh! If Kyouko hears it, I'm dead. :hide:

Yeah, we Sayaka fans are the minority... :uh..:
She may be considered foolish (especially since she acknowledged that herself :XD: ), but... this girl made the contract for her crush's sake after seeing what a magical girl's life typically ends like. How many people her age could do the same? Even Madoka couldn't at first.
Her ideals were crushed, her dreams destroyed, and she failed to find anything else to hold on to in this sea of despair. But she refused to let go of her ideals to the end. and it's downright tragic that Kyouko never could get through to her, and the third CD drama shows that Kyouko indeed USED to be a dead ringer for Sayaka in terms of professional ethics :leaf:

(AYYX and Special_K) LOL This is so true I didn't state my wish!... :waii: Ummm....I wish that..when I die I can become music (literally)...and maybe have the ability to become my favorite songs at will; as I flow invisibly through the universe hehehe :plot: ).

(Nick) I agree with you 200% I think her struggle is what added the right amount of depth to the show...like...the most striking part for me was when she was watching Hitomi with her crush as they sat on the bench, I actually have to fast forward through it sometimes because it's that painful and hard to swallow for me (I'm really sensitive  ) watching her spiral into silent despair it's so deep and crushing...jezz...*shaking off chills* :uh..:

(Don't worry I wont tell Kyouko LOL :innocent: )

(Nick) have you ever seen School Days? I'm highly intrested in your opinon of that one if you've seen it...wondering if we have similar thoughts on that too :dote: especially with some of your other post on other threads; your take on Yuki and Kalafina seems very in line with my thoughts as well.. :ayashii:

(Murrue) Hell yeah! we'll be partners in crime, fighting preconceived notions and ageism, and art-ism LOL...and different-ism :sparkleguy:!

Very true. While I won't state she's the most tragic character (IMHO she is, but some might argue that Homura's tragedy rivals hers), it was Sayaka's arc that deconstructed the genre to the core.

School Days? I haven't watched it yet, but I heard of what made this show memetic. :XD: It's probably very deep (or at least aspiring to be), but taking it seriously may be a challenge nowadays, what with all those Nice Boat jokes around. :XD:
