Isang pinagpala at masaganang bagong taon sa ating lahat! (Tagalog for "A blessed and prosperous New Year to all of us!")

By the way, some Chinese traditions that we usually do here for the new year include preparing 12 pieces of different ROUND fruits, eat nian gao, or what we call as tikoy, and keeping money on some angpao coupon and hold on to it for the rest of the year.

Let us have a safe and prosperous year of the Snake! For those born on the year of monkey like me though, we should be more cautious about our health...

^ Indonesian, though people here often say 'gong xi fa cai' since it is Chinese's new year~

i don't know Chinese or Indonesian-Chinese traditions during the celebration since i am not Chinese, all i know is they are having feast
(is that true? i know it from TV anyway, so i am not sure~)
