Go Shiina & (notsomuch) Yuki Kajiura to compose for Kimetsu no Yaiba

I am liking the song. Yes, it has elements of Kajiura's usual compositional tropes and chord progression, and the strings are all over the song. It also seems to have a few thematic elements to tie in a bit to "Tokoshie「永久 -トコシエ-」" (the song sung by HYDE, or just reminded me of it one part.

I appreciate the Tokyo Konsei-sized chorus kajiurago with it's powerful chant. This already shows us what will be required to perform the song in a YKL setting - though Kajiura could decide to use her in-house vocalists instead.

The major/pleasant/hopeful section is really nice. I like the more rapid bass action at that section. Actually, the bass was quite prominent throughout.

You gotta love Kajiura just going ahead with her common song length of over 6 minutes. 😁 She's not trying to conform to the trend of shorter songs in popular music.

Yes :D
(Though I think it's LiSA's own choice, since Kajiura gives singers quite a lot of freedom usually)
Yeah, Kajiura won't just stomp all over the guest vocalist's choices, especially a pro/star like LiSA.

I am sure she will give her thoughts and she and LiSA will find a middle ground that still supports the lyric while allowing LiSA to express herself vocally. The singer has to feel what they're singing as well as say what the composer wants to be said.

I liked the half-time middle section with all the dark/dramatic instrumentation and vocals. LiSA's switching from chest mix to head voice multiple times was nice, gave me a slight Ado feel, since she (Ado) does that quite a bit.. ❤️

I will also be interested to hear a (future) acoustic-instrumental version with lots of vocal support (FJ regulars or a choir). I wonder how that would sound, especially at the chanting parts. ❤️

I initially thought it was Tokyo Konsei but they sounded different.. 🙈
I just went with them as the first thing that came to my mind, after listening to all the songs grunty shared in the discussion on Kajiura's releases and the number of songs in which Tokyo Konsei was featured.
