I don't know how it is on NETFLIX itself but the youtube upload of the short boasts about using AI. Frankly I think that's better than being all secretive about it or coming up with some fake alias in the credits. With that being said, the credits don't mention who touched up the art "by hand" in the final version either...
I guess there's also the discussion of "lack of manpower in the anime industry" that NETFLIX stated was the reason for using AI versus them or WIT just cutting costs. And "lack of manpower" could be a long term result of cutting costs in the first place, too, lol.
