Finally found a bit of news about Heaven's Feel

I've considered various ways in which to film "Heaven's Feel." Though different from "The Garden of Sinners," I considered splitting it up into multiple parts and making it into a movie series, for instance. And what I thought was a particularly interesting idea is to make it into one six hour film. It's a very "Heaven's Feel" approach, but it would be hard to watch, hell to produce and the movie theaters would be able to screen it how many times a day? Maybe once? It felt disastrous, so I rejected the idea in my mind. I haven't told it to anyone. But I do think that the plan itself is interesting.

This is old-ish news, but I feel like it should be made clear on this sub.
HF is not confirmed as being one movie or a series yet.

One of the guys working on it (Kondou Hikaru) said he was thinking of doing a series of movies like KnK or doing one 6 hour movie. He then realized the logistics of a 6 hour movie make it basically impossible. He had not shared these ideas with the team working on HF.
The only thing he said about the actual adaptation was that it was still really early on.

  • The audio file from AX that had everyone believing HF is going to be one movie was Hikaru talking about what he had written in the above article.
Then a thread by /u/saberlions who was at AX said this about the F/SN event: "Also about HF: the producer said that they haven't started working on it but they've talked about it a lot recently so stay tuned. "

TL;DR It seems that they haven't decided how many movies and of what length yet.

Lets hope they pick Kajiura, she seems quite free lately.

Though the news has been out for a long time (since before UBW started airing), but the third route of the Fate/stay night visual novel, Heaven's Feel, will be getting a movie release. I'm not sure whether it will only be one movie, or a movie series, since I've heard the Heaven's Feel route is significantly longer than the other two routes (Fate & UBW). It will once again be animated by Ufotable, same as Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night [unlimited blade works]. Only one trailer has been released, video here.
 
An events has been announced for March 27, where they will update on new for "Fate Project 2016" I guess, that's where we will get more info about Heaven's Feel http://www.fate-sn.com/news/index.html#news36994

News from Anime Japan 2016: Fate/stay night Heaven's Feel is announced to be a movie trilogy, with the first movie arriving in 2017. Also announced is the TV anime adaptation of the PSP game "Fate/EXTRA", titled " Fate/EXTRA Last Encore", and animated by Studio SHAFT (same people as Madoka Magica).

I don't think the composer has been selected (though IDK where the teaser music is from), I'm still hoping for Kajiura. Hopefully Kalafina will do one of the OP/ED songs, possibly a double A-side if they do both the movie & TV anime.
