Eternal Blue lyrics!

I tried to transcribe the lyrics and Kajiurago from the Eternal Blue clip in the preview video. I know I got a few things wrong, but thankfully the rest is pretty good. I hope. Can't believe I'm here first! :sohappy:

(sortia)

kono mune ga
kataru kotoba o shinjite
mienai sora no naka e
habataite yukeru
eternal blue...

(costa amito
amaye kosa
itiyabi to
ito imiya sedia)

utsumuite kokoro
dakishimete senaka
dokoka de kikoeru
samishige na ongaku o
oikakete yuku
kurayami no sanaka de
yumemiteru sora wa aoku

kieteitta
ikutsumono hikari niwa
kanashimi to yasashisa no
kioku-sae mou mienai
te o nobasu
mada akanai mirai wa
kagayaki-sae shirazu ni
nemuri tsuzuketeru
mezame o matte

Thanks to Keiri for the help

^ It almost sounds like it, but if you mean after 'dakishimete', I'm sure that it's 'senaka'. Keiko echoes Kaori just as Kaori gets to 'ka', so Keiko is singing 'se' at the same time and it adds an 's' sound. :V:

And you're welcome! I'm going to start translating it soon too :sohappy:

I hope it's okay if I help out a little. :shy:

dokokareki koeru (?)
Kinda sounded like "Dokoka de kikoeru" as in

"Dokoka de kikoeru
Samishige na ongaku o"

kiete mita (?)
"Kieteitta"? This one was pretty hard to make out as "kietemita" sounds plausible as well.

Gah, curse the girls' wonderful vocal slurring. :XD:

Also these lines
kurayami no senaka de
I wonder if it's more like "Kurayami no sanaka de"/"暗闇の最中で" (In the midst of darkness)

mezame omaku
Probably "Mezame o matte"/"目覚めを待って" if this were to follow the line of "Nemuri tsuzuketeru" to make a connection between the two lines.

By the way, do take my suggestions with a grain of salt as my listening skills are really bad (Heck, I'm a very poor listener even when it comes to my mother tongue). I just "heard" the lyrics as they are and tried to fit the words into the overall context of the song. ^_^;;;

Good Job on the transcription, ninetales! :goodjob:

^ Thanks! You're a big help  I don't know about 'mezame o matte', but I'm sure you're right about the rest. And since I can't find anything that corresponds to 'omaku', I'm going to add in 'o matte' anyway :plot: Correcting now! :V:

Translation:

my heart
believes in the words you say
as we fly
in the invisible sky
eternal blue...

my ashamed heart
and my embraced back
are pursuing your
lonely music
that's audible somewhere
in the midst of the darkness
the sky we dream of has, so blue

it's vanished
and, in the uncounted light
even my memories of sadness
and gentleness are already invisible
so I reach out my hand
and still, the unrevealed future
not even in radiance
waits for the awaking
that continues to sleep

^Thanks ninetales !
I love the first part translation :D makes me wanna fly :ohoho:

^ You're welcome! :V:

I like that first part myself. That, and the last four lines...

"And still, the unrevealed future, not even in radiance, waits for the awaking that continues to sleep..." :dote:

Eeehh ninetales I keep hearing "kataru kotoba o shinjita" instead of "shinjite"

^ You might be right...I also thought I heard 'dakishimeTA senaka', but I'm not sure... :desksweat:

@Kizuato: You're welcome :V:

I heard "kataru kotoba o shinjite".

But for these lines...
"utsumuite kokoro
dakishimete senaka"

...it's probably more like
"utsumuita kokoro
dakishimeta senaka"
...if we are to view things in the grammatical sense.

I've seen lyrics which have the "te" form of verbs that precede nouns though, but the lines have a different meaning all together. In this particular case, I'm thinking "ta" is more like it. Lyrics are mysterious things... :ayashii:

I still hear "kataru kotoba o shinjita"
and I agree with Keiri,I hear "utsumuita kokoro, dakishimeta senaka"
Kaori sing the end of the words so low, so it's hard to hear whether it ends with -te or -ta

^
Yep, that's true. I definitely agree with you. It's the way Kaori sung her words and it can be pretty hard to tell what syllable she was pronouncing. Moreover, "-te" and "-ta" are both valid verb endings in the sentences above.

Hehe I'll leave it to you guys to handle the transcription.
My listening skill is really bad and it doesn't help when it comes to sentences which have a legitimate grammatical structure. :XD:

I'm not really the best on grammar myself, since I'm still learning...I think I'll just wait until I see the official lyrics :ohoho:

i believed in the words spoken by my heart
we can fly off into the invisible sky
eternal blue

in my ashamed heart and my back you embraced
somewhere, i hear lonely music
i am chasing after it in the middle of the darkness
the sky i am dreaming of is blue

even my memories of sorrow and kindness aren’t visible anymore
within the many lights that vanished
still, i extend my hand out for the fleeting future
i continue to sleep, even without knowing its radiance
waiting to awaken

i fell in love with this song instantly :nosebleed:

Alphie, I think these are parts of two separate phrases. :ohoho:

Ah, the usual Yuki poetry, rich in images and self-reflection. :dote:
