It has been a while since Yuki Kajiura composed for an opening of an anime.

Looking back to all those she composed so far for anime openings, which of these are the most appealing for you? Did you continue to watch that anime because of it? What can you share about this, guys?

I wonder if I'm still missing anything from this list...
 
:omg: Too hard to choose! But I said Hikari no Senritsu because (even though the full version is suuuuper reptitive) it sounds different for an anime OP - Parallel Hearts, Toki ni, TTB for example have very anime OP-ish feels but HnS has a moreu nique sound (to me personally, that is). I didn't particularly feel any attraction to it at first but gradually it's grown on me a lot~ :love: And also I love the instrumental :shy:

Parallel Hearts is also special because it was the first Kajiura song that I ever listened to (and instantly loved even though I didn't know about her or FJ back then) so it has left a deep impression and conjures up some nice memories :dote:
 
Sora-no-Woto is a nice anime... and while I haven't watched Fate/Zero yet, HnS and TTB are 2 of my favourite Kalafina and Yuki songs. So naturally I'm biased. :sohappy: :sohappy:

Bakumatsu- I love Kouya Ruten. It's very oriental, mysterious sounding :shy:

The .Hack one was for Silly-go-Round right? If I remember correctly, Kimi ga Ita Monogatari was also an opening, for another .Hack series...
 
I might have to try to put together a list of Yuki Kajiura composed OP's before I can answer the question.
 
I like Parallel Hearts and TTB the most out of this list. (Parallel Hearts was the first FJ song I heard, after all :shy: )

I'd also vote for Madlax's OP, Hitomi no Kakera.
 
I'm sorry to say that OP in See-Saw&FJ Yuuka era are much more impressive for me than Kalafina&FictionJunction era...Kalafina are better for ED and I think many people have the same idea as me about FictionJunction's OP.

My favourite is Hitomi no Kakera but it seems that this choice isn't available when I voted...so I choose Bakumatsu's Kouya Ruten instead... (after the poll is restarted, I can't vote it again... :blood: don't know why.) If other series of .hack were available, Kioku would definitely get the third place. Since it isn't here, I let Shounen Onmyouji come on the third place... :sparkleguy:

I'd prefer Keiko's version over Yui Makino's but either one is fine.

My vote goes to 幕末機関説(Bakumatsu) / Kouya Ruten since I like it best out of all the options given.

And although I don't like Pandora Hearts, Parallel Hearts is a close tie with Kouya Ruten for me.
Oh and I have no love for Sora no Woto too. /runs.

On hindsight I voted for just 1 OP instead of 3 so the poll might be inaccurate.

Anyways, my thoughts with Cerise are the same on Pandora Hearts, since this is what properly introduced me to Yuki Kajiura. First love never dies after all... :dote: (it just gets replaced, lol)

Fate/Zero and Sacred Seven are my next choices, since I feel that these songs really match the opening sequence overall.

Giving special citation to So Ra No Wo To since I really like how Yuki's music goes along with the graphics that remind me of European art, for instance with Picasso's art style.

EDIT: I will try watching those other openings soon, and hopefully their anime as well...
 
haha i have two of the same votes as george! kouya ruten and egao no wake XD For the third I chose madlax op
