Discussion: Isnt about time 4 the 2nd FictionJunction album?

I just wanted to open a discussion thread since

a) 4 years have passed since the last album of FictionJunction (Everlasting Songs)
b) The group has released 4 singles:

1. Parallel Hearts
2. Toki no mukou maboroshi no sora
3. stone cold
4. distance / eternal blue

So how do you want it to be like?

Personally I would want all the single songs + solo songs for Wakana, Yuriko, + at least 4 songs that have fresh new melodies, fresh new arrangement and fresh new vocals share (not all the time Wakana and Kaori with a bit of Keiko and chorus Yuriko). Actually I would LOVE an upbeat song with Yuriko on main vocal in her operatic singing style :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

some ideas for new vocals share:
Yuriko/ Keiko on main vocal with Kaori and/or Keiko and/or Wakana on chorus. eg We've never heard Keiko doing the main kajiurago chorus, and I think it would be lovely.

different instruments?
- What about an acoustic.guitar driven song like dream scape of akatsuki no kuruma
- Saxophone/ Piano on upbeat song bridge ala Pandora Hearts expanded / Knk M19+20.

In my opinion the combination of Keiko+Yuriko would be perfect :dote: :dote:
I would like to listen them, in some songs, with Kaori and Wakana on the chorus!

Oh, I always think that when I listen FJ songs. Nothing personal, I love Wakana's voice and Kaori's one is not only cute, but versatile, but... I think they have a lot of principal voices in Kajiura works, and Keiko and Yuri-nee deserve that too. So, a upbeat song with Keiko and/or Yuriko as principal voice would be perfect.

Now, talking about the hypothetical album, I would like it if it'd have more new songs or new arrangments of other Kajiura songs, more than all the songs of the singles. I'm thinking in something like Everlasting Songs, but with more new songs and grupal songs for the four :dote:
 
I want more new songs too but considering how lazy Yuki is about making FJ songs (to the point she makes only 2 per year -and have similar arrangements too-) I doubt she will sit to make so many new songs for an album :XD:

Jazzy song for Keiko.
Ballad for Yuriko (I'd like to hear her sing with more emotion, like in Himitsu live).
Something acoustic and upbeat for Kaori.
Something French/Spanish style for Wakana (like Yuukas Blessing or Romanesque).
 
i want new songs with keiko as the main vocal. also want songs like sayonara solitaire and i reach for the sun sung by FJ included in the album. and same as kowz, i want more jazzy songs

oh, also, would be nice if they put korenaga arranged song in too, maybe something like synchronicity
 
I'm hoping for an album for FJ too, but like what George said, I think FJ is more like a cover/performer for Kajiura's old works. I won't really mind if FJ releases another album like everlasting songs ('cause there's hell lot old Kajiura works I'd love to hear FJ sing).

But if Kajiura's making songs for FJ, my wishlist would be (mostly the same as Kowz's) :

Jazzy or easy-listening for Keiko (I've once heard Keiko's old performance of Jazz songs in youtube, and it's good), something like I Swear is totally wanted.

Ballad for Yuriko, with the Himitsu-live singing style.

Upbeat for Kaori.

The only difference between mine and Kowz's is for Wakana. I totally love Wakana's voice in Kajiura's digital beat-mid tempo. My ideal songs for Wakana is something like oblivious, adore, Kyrie, and magnolia.
 
maybe a compilation of all the 4 singles (like kalafina), a few covers and a few new songs(like everlasting song) or maybe include the FJclub songs, if Hikaru included at the next FJ album..

i always felt guilty everytime i heard that song..
kinda like betraying all the uta-hime..

I just hope there won't be any FJ turned Kalafina for the new songs. :XD: And yeah, I'd love Keiko and Yuriko as the main vocal for several songs. Wakana would make a good background chorus, like Hitori Goto.
 
i don't really care about genre as long as it's nice to hear. and maybe a song or two for yuriko & keiko as main singer :dote:

Jan : Kalafina 5th Anniv
Feb : YK Live Shibuko special
March : Kalafina's consolation

let's hope for FJ's new album on April :XD:
 
^ My guess is that it will be announced (if it is) on YK live vol 10 and they will its promotion on Fall 2013 with YK vol 11 or something

I wish they never were a group.
If Yuki indeed wants to make it a group, please feature Yuuka or even Asuka (although I don't like her voice) in a group song. Or at least, Yuriko as main.
 
I hope for new songs, but also covers. Keiko and Yuriko are always welcome to sing more. And I hope for no Yuuka involved... Can't like her. Asuka is always welcome, though <3

More duets songs, please? :shy:
 
^ Why does Wakana need to be inside all of the duets dont we get enough of her with Kalafina? :XD:

if it comes to duets I would like some unusual one like Yuuka+Kaori, Yuriko+Kaori, Wakana+Yuuka.

Like others said I would also like a Yuuka song, preferably upbeat, since from Parallel Hearts and then we were getting only ballads with her (Hitomi no Chikara, silent moon).
 
personally I love her voice combined with the others and a song in the style of Ensei would be pretty *________*
Anyway You're right :) a duets with Yuuka would be interesting!!

Oh and YES, MORE Yuriko and Keiko songs, please! My friend's commenting on how Yuriko is like high-class champagne- nice, grapey, refreshing, but
you don't get to drink (hear) it often...
