Kyrie's pretty sparse for a Kalafina song, and the performance is pretty shaky in spots. Methinks Yuki Kajiura likes those Middle Eastern scales a bit too much.

Re Voyagers: I wonder if Yuki's been listening to Vienna Teng's Harbor or similar.

It does sound kinda shaky, which makes me really sad. Kalafina seems to be in a slump for live performances lately... I feel like they're trying to hard. Like in a recent video ive seen of Progressive Live (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m18v110J7Y), Hikaru sounded really out of it. She seemed like she was trying to make her cute innocent voice sound deeper and heavier to match Keiko and just failed. Not to mention how shaky Wakana's voice was. It makes me depressed because we all know they can do so much better!
They need to calm down and just be themselves, like they were in Oblivious Live (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JcWykWU2Bk). I did a report on them for my voice class and used "Oblivious LIVE" for my video piece and my teacher commented on their amazing vocal and performance ability.

kyrie: Hikaru is just failing there again. Wakana sounds better than in Hikari live. Song sounds like an extention on zodiacal sign intro. I'm pretty neutral to it.
Voyagers: pretty decent live. Makes me think better of the girls again. Song is pretty boring tho.
 
Kyrie sounds very good, the intro makes me think of Love Come Down though. Can't stop listening to it.
Again, no Keiko solo, only Wakana and Hikaru >__>

about Voyager : hm... somehow after hearing the intro, I stopped.

A good song with a good melody but it didn't impress me. I'll wait for the album, maybe this Kyrie was beta XD intro=zodiacal sign?
And voyagers was like a soft version of the original song, sometimes piano is totally inappropriate imo.

maybe once we get used to it we won't notice
I remember thinking dream port = tsubasa when we heard the first sample but it's not thaaaaaaat similarrr

It's from NHK programme「経済羅針盤」.
And,I think Kyrie(1:22-1:33) sounds like progressive(3:18-3:28)...
 
I actually like voyagers :shy: it's soft and soothing. as for kyrie, can't say I like it now :uh..:
