Something to keep us entertained between releases~

Here are the RRRUUUURRRRUUUUS (rules), because otherwise we'd have FULL ORCHESTRA, AND CHOIR, AND EVERY SINGER KAJIURA HAS WORKED WITH.

1. 24 song limit.
2. Pick between:
  • FictionJunction + guest musicians (two max)
  • FictionJunction + guest vocalists + guest musicians (three max)
  • Instrumental only: front band members + guests (three max). For this one, you can add a vocalist if you want, just like Eri Ito was invited for Vol. 9 day 2.
3. You may include Akagi Rie as FBM instead of as guest.
4. Strings quartet are a unit so I guess it counts as 1 guest.
5. You may also change the FBM if you like. Ex. change Satou for Nozaki.
6. Include the singers/musicians you think would sing/play the song.
7. Put the setlist in spoilers or quote, so we don't have a Huge McLarge page.
8. Participation is mandatory. Failing to entertain your Quing will result in death.

You should probably include from which soundtrack is each track, for those that are not familiar with Kajiura's discography.

What do you think?

I picked Killing because of the minimal vocals, excuse for more sax, and it;s pretty hype IMO. Although, I feel like placing it right after A long goodbye might be a mood killer. I originally thought of putting Luminous Sword, but I thought it works better with more voices. But then again, I haven't listened to the FJ version, hue.
 
I don't really know anymore.

Do as much pre-KNK stuff that wasn't performed as possible and only have Keiko and Yuriko on vocal (with Yuri/Eri/Hanae as guests). I wouldn't mind Hikaru either TBH, since I liked her on chorus in YUUKA releases...

I think she would be pretty good for Saeko Chiba songs, like Daiya no Genseki and Hitori demo, futari nara (my favorite Saeko song).
 
B-but the rrrrruurruuus are so much effort.

So I picked FBM+half-FJ+guest vocalists. Aint nobody got time to come up with 24 tracks... ;P I'm cool with anything as long as it's mostly previously unperformed pre-KNK stuff.

And I second whatever grunty said. Though I could add KnK and a few Madoka stuff too.

Felt the weirdest deja vu. I feel I've written the same thing for the same purpose. May list tracks if I find the time :)

In a more perfect world, they would also perform that one song from tokyo revelations that was never released. Wakana would also sing with her old, pre-2012 voice.

It's fine. I put them there to separate the different parts of the concert, and have a better feel of the setlist.



BTW ya'll, what do you think of the first setlist I made? Would you buy the bluray/album? hue
 
@Kowz your set list has a lot of tracks that I have never heard before so I would have to hear the live before I buy it. But, that being said, it has tracks from a lot of different soundtracks so that alone would probably make it worth buying.

BTW, do you guys think we should try sending whole setlists to Kajiura? I know she might not even read them, and if she does, she won't use whole setlists, but perhaps it could give her some ideas on what some of her fans would like to hear?

Nah, I'll manage on my own. As for setlists, we could send her some suggestions but I think she tries to build her lives around her most recent albums/shows. That being said, she really needs to freshen the set lists up. I feel as though she repeats songs way too much considering how many she has to choose from.
 
Yuki Kajiura did ask before YK Live vol. #10 for suggestions and I'm glad that some of mine were included.

I hope that she does so again before YK Live vol. #12.

Gosh I am really excited for the instrumental live. I'll be so disappointed if there is, once again, no dvd/blu-ray release

Its a good idea, maybe we could make it as a christmass present from cpm. :)

because im sure she would be lazy to read setlists that are just in a document attached to an email.
