Chitose Hajime

I did a search of the forum and while some people like this singer, we haven't had a topic dedicated to her.

I will be seeing both next Saturday and have been impressed with the singing of Chitose Hajime that I have found on clips on youtube.

I like her Haru no Katami and Kataritsugu Koto. Took me a while to get used to her singing style

Hi, Chitose Hajime was wonderful last night, strong voice, great stage presence. She had backing musicians and we were treated to a good set that included "Kataritsugu Koto" (語り継ぐこと?), the ending theme for the anime BLOOD+ and, foretold by the presence of a Yamaha grand piano on stage, "Shinda Onna no Ko" (死んだ女の子?) with Ryuichi Sakamoto.

I managed to get almost as close as any of the audience were allowed with excellent view of Chitose-san and Sakamoto-san.

The stage setup was excellent with multiple high definition cameras used and a large screen behind the performers.

I hope that a video of this No Nukes concert is released as this and other perfermances were great. [There was a second No Nukes concert today, but I attended the first of Chiaki Ishikawa's secret Tokyo lives].

Thanks! It didn't take me long to realise that if I missed this concert I'd be regretting missing it, so I made sure to hear all the sets of all the performers also.
