I watched the 1st episode of the anime Amatsuki which has as ED the song Namae no nai michi by Kaori Hikita and Yuki Kajiura
The plot in summary is:
A student writes his psycology (semester) test, and after that he is going for a walk with his (male) friend (not boyfriend) and they visit a park where, if you wear special googles you can see the whole place as if you were in Bakumatsu period. Sometime as he walks with his friend talking about the Bakumatsu period, he realises that his friends isnt with him , and while wearing googles he takes the wrong way and he finds himself in a bridge where there is a spirit riding a spiritmonster (you later learn that they are called "nue") and it asks him some philosophical queries like "what is emptiness", and because he thinks that it is virtual he gets closer and it attacks and hurts him, but fortunately a girl with a bakumatsu period uniform and a sword almost kills the monster and saves him, then as he wakes up he realises that he gone back in time in bakumatsu and the his left eye has changed colour and that he cant see from that.... (it has more but I am lazy to type)
I liked the 1st episode and its philosophic ( it has more questions in the end) and historical nature and I will keep on watching it.
I copied the lyrics of Namae no nai michi

ashiato mo namae mo iranai
English
I wonder what's reflected in those eyes now
The invisible truth is actually here
Everything is closed as the night wanes
The water keeps flowing
walking towards the wilderness,
before the next day comes
Picture the future,
the path you will walk
I dont need any footprints or a name
