I have a confession to make
I too was at Anime Boston when Kalafina and Kajiura-sensei came...as a matter of fact, it was going to see them that made me interested in their music. But I only went on Sunday, so I missed the concert and the autograph sessions.
I did go to a Kara no Kyoukai/Kalafina panel on Sunday, though. I got to see Kajiura-sensei, Kalafina, and someone involved in the Kara no Kyoukai production. (Producer or director, I don't really remember.) Of course, I sat to the right, and the table was at the left of the stage, which meant that as soon as the gigantic line formed to the mike, I couldn't see anyone except for the Kara no Kyoukai person
Anyway, after they'd answered questions the MC, who had a bit of a heavy accent, started asking trivia questions. The last question was going to be for a SIGNED poster handed out PERSONALLY by Kalafina. I got ready.
The question was, "Name the three members of Kalafina."
And by the time I'd figured out what the MC actually said, and decided that Maya shouldn't be named because she was no longer part of Kalafina, someone else had answered and I watched this person take the SIGNED poster from Kalafina's hands.
Of course, it didn't matter much back then...but now that their songs are almost all I listen to, I feel absolutely horrific every time I think about it
I suppose that counts as a second-hand experience
And to make matters worse, I once found the blog of the person who got the poster, and he/she posted a picture...
