I think she was just hesitant / scared / shy to hold her own lives until Dream Port rehearsals started which is proven by how few FJY and Saeko Chiba lives there were and the only performance of her music we had back then were by Eminence and the stuff she did with Bindiger in anime conventions...

I agreee :) btw i'd come to see the Kajiura music getting performed. Even if i like the vocalists im not their follower, which is proved from their solo stuff being pretty boring compared to the songs made by Kajiura (Yuuka and some of Kaori's songs like the Wild Arms ones are the exception)
