So I was deepl-ing amazon blurbs and then articles on that "6000 songs on parade" NHK book that is coming out in July and I realized that the listed book's author (and seemingly also the director of last year's NHK documentary of the same name) is Takumi Kimizuka, who directed "Moon" and "Ruby Fruit" (names which we Kajiura fans should be familiar with, even if I myself didn't recognize the director).

So he also has a movie coming out next year apparently called "星より静かに" (?Hoshi yori shizuka ni). Not really sure if it's a regular movie or a documentary (they keep stressing it's about...

So this appeared in JASRAC with lyrics & music by Kajiura (and no other copyrights as of now). Does anyone know what it is?

It has no artist attached or any show description. Is it maybe some Kimetsu live/orchestral album or a new track? I'm not getting any search results. Or maybe a mistake? They actually removed some Kimetsu orchestral entries from JASRAC recently. (Or Kajiura's name from them, I did not investigate.)

Sometime ago I started managing my own spreadsheet copy of Kajiura's JASRAC entries so I can keep track of big updates easier (with the thousands of entries that Kajiura has and no way of sorting by "recently added").

What used to be in JASRAC:

These orchestral concert entries WERE REMOVED in fact BUT those new titles got added to their respective old Kimetsu entries.

For example "恋の呼吸壱ノ型初恋のわななき" now appears in this entry as the 6th sub-title.

Sometimes stuff takes time or people forget. Especially with it being a digital release only so far. ;p

Also to add to this, JASRAC isn't some perfect source for details.

There's plenty mistakes (Saeko and Kalafina credited as artists in an "overture" entry that is clearly specified to be Saeko's with sub-titles and Bandai/Lantis copyright) and weird stuff (multiple, completely different songs under one album entry).

I don't know how much anyone cares or needs it to be correct - you would think they do but it is what it is.
Edit: I guess there's also a possibility that whatever I perceive as weird or mistakes is just limitations of the online frontend for the database, rather than the database itself. v( '')v

With that said "残酷な夜に輝け" is a new entry (as of now) so we can make what we want of this information.

I'm betting on Kimetsu movie ending but it's also a little weird that the entry is so barebones with no Aniplex in copyright or Kimetsu in sub-titles. We'll see.
